I have over fifteen years of recent experience in the construction and painting industries, performing residential renovations, both interior and exterior. I have seven years prior experience as a full time journeyman painter.

* application of professional paint and stain finishes to all of the above
- Landscaping:
* sprinkler and drip system installation and repair
* tree trimming and pruning
* sod installation including ground preparation and planting

* planter boxes for vegetable gardens and flowers
* animal enclosures, dog runs, rabbit hutches, etc.
I have a professional work truck and tools for all of the above. I have very reasonable rates and can give plenty of references upon request.
I can also install and configure PC hardware, some software, memory SIMMs, PCI cards, hard drives, etc.

John did an excellent job! He does high quality work, was consistently on time, and is incredibly friendly. He helped me move a door, fix my toilet, and put together some furniture. He did everything quickly and was very well priced. I would highly recommend him.

I have used John recently to paint a room, repair bathroom and kitchen fixtures, and install outdoor lighting. He works efficiently and pays attention to details others might miss. In each case he did a good job. To my delight, he was careful to clean up the work area when he was finished. His rates are very reasonable.

John did a terrific job unjamming a very jammed door bolt. He quickly determined that the problem was caused by a settling door frame, and not the bolt itself. He fabricated some parts, stuck in shims, manuvered things this way and that, performed some miracles, and voila! ... the bolt now opens and closes. Not only did John do a great job but he responded quickly to my calls and showed up when he said he would. I plan to definitely use him again.

We found John here on Thumbtack in summer of '12 to handle some miscellaneous jobs around our office. Whether it's assembling furniture, painting our building, changing out light bulbs or hanging shelves, John always shows up on time and with a smile on his face! John is the best! He is reasonable, reliable and able to improvise. He does great work and will always go that extra step; he's a real detail man (he'e more of a perfectionist than you will ever dream of being).
Painting, windows, light electrical, deck and fence repair, replace shower doors, assemble install Ikea armoires and washing machines, replace front door, super patching and matching texture, drainage repair--intuitively understands what you want done. (our PG&E bills have been cut in half since he tightened up all of our house's loose spots)
John will get your job done, on time and at a lot less than you'd expect.
