I have expertise in translating clients' visions into a well thought out, well executed digital experiences.
The difference between User Experience Design (UXD) and visual design is that UXD shapes not only the content of a given page, but how all the pages/pieces of a site/system work together to achieve its goals. Using the home as a reference, if a visual designer is like an interior decorator then a user experience designer is like an architect.
As a user experience designer I've focused on the publishing industry for several years, working with/at media companies (such as Dwell) to envision, architect, and build their digital experiences.
Let's work together, we can make something great.

Question and answer
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Often I'm asked "What publishing systems do I recommend?" I often recommend WordPress for smaller sites with only a handful of content creators who are creating document. For larger sites, or those with different types of contents (product pages, map sections) my recommendation is tailored to the needs of the client.
