- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been obsessed with interior decorating since I was 5 years old and as an adult would constantly rearrange my house or decorate for friends and family. After more that 15 years in corporate fashion/retail industry I've decided it's time to focus on interiors full time. It truly makes me happy and inspired and I want to share my love and enthusiasm for it with others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
General interior decorating. Putting together color stories. Color/paint selection. Furniture, furnishings, accessories, art selection. General layout. Working with existing furniture, accessories and art. Figuring out how to incorporate it with new things and making it look new, fresh and exciting. I can advise on bathroom/kitchen layouts but I'm not comfortable with full bathroom/kitchen remodel type of work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I have an extensive background in fashion. It gives me a very unique perspective on interior decorating. My intimate knowledge of color, fabric, texture and attention to small details comes in handy.
