FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I'll work with any budget so let's talk! On the lighter side, I offer an Art Board option. This includes a deep dive into your style, preferences, and design needs. After a few sessions, I'll create a few mood board concepts for you to choose from. After we align on a mood board that you like, I'll send an organized list of items and links and where to purchase them. The execution is up to you! The next tier offers a more personalized touch. We'll meet weekly to discuss each item on our design list in-depth (couch, chair, paint color, etc). It's a much more involved process featuring floorplans, vintage finds, renderings, and more. The final tier includes all of the above, plus a white glove service. I'll manage all ordering and installation of pieces to ensure your final space comes together seamlessly. Additionally, multiple spaces come with a discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
No matter the budget, the first step will always be user research. I'll sit down with you and understand your wants and needs in the space. We'll dig into a Pinterest exercise to better understand your style preferences so my initial design concepts hit home. We'll build a design "hit list" of every element we need to think through in the space. Each week, I'll come to our meetings with a few options that fit your style, functionality, and price point. Adhering to a schedule we build together, we'll keep building and iterating until the space is one you're happy with. It's a fluid process and one I enjoy building together!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been designing spaces my whole life but started to get into formal design work six years ago while managing my first 30,000 sq ft office build. Once the office was built out, I created "design kits" to take the office designs on the road to our smaller offices. From selecting interesting furniture pieces to sourcing local art in each city, it was inspiring to expand the office design, near and far.
