Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have been actively servicing the community with massage for over 10years. I have a natural ability to find areas of discomfort and help release any tension therein. The most satisfying part of my job is seeing people leave my space in a completely relaxed state of mind. If I can bring, even if for just one day, complete satisfaction and relaxation to someone, that is worth everything I do.

I don't like strangers touching me. That's the truth. So I don't enjoy massages. I however needed one badly, my back and neck were just screaming for one! Hands down, Alex gave me the best massage I've ever received. I was so impressed that I'm giving friends and family one hour long massages with him.

Alex comes to our office on a weekly basis to give great massages. In just 20 minutes of work, he's able to get out a lot of tightness in my shoulders and upper back from sitting at a desk and typing all week. Alex does great work and he's reliable and accommodating.

Alex gives an awesome massage, plus he's super friendly and likable. Highly recommended if you hunch over a keyboard for most of your waking hours; he'll fix you up real good.

One of the best massages I've had by a teacher from the Holisitic Institute.. And he was very helpful by giving me some other stretches I can do on my own. Will definitely be using their service again.

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your therapist is educated, licensed and insured. Take into consideration the years in business and that they have a very clean environment. Your initial conversation should feel fluid and comfortable.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

This is my Masseur or is it Masseuse? I get this question all the time. To put it simply these are antiquated terms that have negative connotations. I will bullet point it for you: * Masseuse= this is the feminine term for Masseur ( so right off the bat you can’t use this in reference to me ;-) * Masseur= is the French word for a person that performs massage. Leading me to my next definition. * Massage therapist=Here we go. This is the most widely accepted term in the bodywork industry. Within the definition of Massage Therpaist there are more specific titles commonly used: CMT- Certified Massage therapist- Said person received certification, upon completing of massage therapy course, from an accredited school. LMT-Licensed Massage Therapist- Said person was issued a license by city or state to perform bodywork. To do so you must already be a CMT. The term Masseuse/Masseur was and is used in conjunction with escorts and sex workers. The massage therapy industry has worked very hard to remove itself from these labels. I know that when it is used ,in reference to myself, I don’t find it offensive. I know it wasn’t intended to be. However, seeing as how this is a booming industry, I think it pertinent to explain the difference and to educate others.
