Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. It's what I always wanted to do but never expected to do.
I had a fancy college degree and figured I would have some fun studying bodywork and yoga before going to graduate school or getting a job in the media world. I happened to stumble Into a one-hour reflexology workshop during finals week my senior year at college. I enjoyed it so much that I signed up for the full course and took a job at the reflexology school. Massage and yoga studies followed.
I did not expect to give massages professionally when I went to massage school. I thought I would use the knowledge and techniques to ease the lives of friends and family. Luckily I realized that I had found my calling and I answered the call with a big loud YES.
