Reviews

Mike is great. Many massage therapists require an hour appointment but he offers 30 minute appointments which allows me to get a couple massages a week. I've been having pain from typing and his massages have been helpful.

He's friendly, professional, and affordably priced. I recommend!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Neck, Back and Shoulder problems.. but i have extensive experience with runners

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Be Informed. Dont be afraid to ask questions to see Licence info... If you uncomfortable, speak up. if things are painful say so.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The best day to go to a CMT for last minute Appointment is Tuesday.

If you want a lighter Massage book the earliest appointment in the day

For a firmer Massage book near the end of the day.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have a strong background in injury maintenance. My technique is a blend of easter and western techniques. Each appointment is geared towards the goals the client sets forward. You will leave feeling complete bliss. Pain relief is the goal.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Make people feel good. That look of content is the best gift.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How often should I get a massage?
As often as you like, but every three weeks is best. If you have an injury say whiplash or something Frequency is key to help heal... so maybe twice a week but a 30 minute appointment. and then we try to decrease the time needed.

Does my insurance cover massages?
NO, but the way around it is to ask your company to give you a healthcare expense account if you pay from that then the government will reimburse your massages at tax time

How much should I tip?
10-20% is best.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I had a client come in with a frozen elbow... nearly immobile it was due to extreme shoulder tension she came twice a week the first month once a week the next month and by the third month she had full movement and it was in better shape than in long time..

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I bought my first Massage Book when I was sixteen. in college i was at a cross roads.. and a friend suggested I do massage since he said I "had a Knack." Having nothing to lose i took him up on his advice and moved to sacramento.., enrolled in school. The first day of class I knew I had found my calling.
