FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Regardless of technique desired, I charge $75 for the 60 minute and $110 for the 90 minute session. I typically use essential oils with my work in order to enhance the service. At the moment there is no fee for traveling and am more than happy to bring my setup to your home.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The last workshop I took was a myofascial release introductory class. I have plans on pursuing a deeper understanding of cranial sacral work as well as myofascial release techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was an accident really - I was going to acupuncture school and got my massage training in tandem with my masters in acupuncture after realizing I had never really touched another human being on a healing level. I graduated from san francisco school of massage 3 years before finishing my masters at American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was able to have three years working experience as a massage therapist before being faced with the choice of continuing my massage career, which I fell in love with, or transitioning into a new career as an acupuncturist. I decided to keep working as a massage therapist until I feel called otherwise simply because this job enriches me on such a deep and fundamental level. I love doing this work and can't really see myself doing anything else at the moment.
