Introduction: I am obligated to make best efforts to impart understanding to my clients. Fortunately, I am resourceful and able to explain things in a variety of ways: if a student doesn't "get it" with one explanation, she might do much better when the tutor uses a different approach. I love to teach solutions to word problems, because they provide opportunities to break out key concepts and make them clear to students. However, If one of my clients ultimately fails to comprehend a problem, I will not charge for the session. In such a case, I will be inclined to suggest another tutor. I love tutoring because it provides me with opportunities to keep my mind sharp by solving problems. I enjoy making up original problems and presenting them to my clientele.
