Introduction: I have several years of experience teaching others. While at Harvard, I tutored peers in the introductory Statistics course. I also know what it's like to study for tests, and have many years experience self-studying and learning how to make progress in difficult subjects. I provide SAT tutoring and introductory Statistics tutoring. I scored a 2340 on the SAT, and majored in Statistics and minored in Computer Science at Harvard. I generally meet my clients at my home or at my office. I love seeing the progress of a student, and pushing them to set their own goals. A tutor is as much as coach as a teacher, and it's very important that the students I work with feel comfortable achieving their goals.

Sam is very patient when working through problems and always challenges you to think for yourself, rather than giving you all the answers!

Sam was a great tutor for me! He has a knack for taking complex ideas/problems and breaking them down into much smaller pieces that are easier to understand. If one way doesn't work, he was able to offer other angles. Plus, he is very patient and understanding. A+ tutor!
