I will always use McGuire Movers! They came down to Mountain View and helped me move into the city with such ease. Their rates were the BEST out of the four or five I looked into. John and Patrick were very thorough, went above and beyond and made the moving experience easy and quick!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Having everything that will be packed in boxes ready when the movers arrive will save you time and costs.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Ask the movers to have someone come to your place for a visual inspection of the items you will be moving.
Ask for a written "not to exceed" estimate.This way you will get a more accurate estimate that is binding, and can only be changed with your agreement.
You will also have an opportunity to meet a representative of the company and you can get a better sense of whether you want to work with the company.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Ask how long the company has been in business. Ask for multiple references from previous customers. Don't be shy, call the references and ask as many questions as you can.
And again, ask to have a representative of the company come to your place and give an in-person, visual inspection of the items you will be moving. This way you will have a chance to meet them and ask any questions you may have about your move and about the movers.
