I'm a 39 year-old SWF who has lived in San Francisco for the last 21 years. I moved here for school from Pennsylvania. I was taking care of a 3-bedroom house at the age of 7, helping my older sister and then taking care of the house on my own at the age of 11.

I am experienced in doing cleaning, laundry, cooking, lawn care and I love animals, especially dogs. I have also cared for a 9-year old girl along with two dogs in a private home on a part-time basis for a single mother in SF. In addition, I have been a mother's helper to another single mom and her 10-month old daughter in SF.

I am comfortable with newborns, as well as preteen children. I love to play games, do outdoor activities or just hang out and watch a movie with kids.

I am comfortable with doing housework, laundry, homework help, cooking meals, etc. I know how to discipline but I do not raise my voice or yell.

I started babysitting at the age of 14 for children as young as 5 months and as old as 4 years.

I have had experience for 7 years as an owner of dogs. I had a collie as a child and took care of him, grooming, feeding, walking, etc. I also took care of a 12-year old Australian Sheepdog an a 2-year old teacup Chihuahua off and on from mid-2008 to early 2011.

I do not have a vehicle but I can get around the city easily on public transit. I am also available for any event planning or prep.

  As a working single mother, it has been a blessing to have met Kristen. She has been extremely helpful with babysitting my now 10 month old as needed and more importantly she has been a huge help with the housekeeping. Kristen works for me a few hrs each week deep cleaning the kitchen, bath and living areas. She is really great at special projects and organization and I can't say enough about the help that she has given me.
