FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We bill your insurance for you. Potential clients call our office and speak with Liberty, in the billing/accounting department. She asks a few questions and lets you know if we can bill your insurance for you or not. We also have an out-of-pocket plan she can discuss with you if you like.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For speaking: We set up a call to go over logistics, discuss the clients I will be speaking to, and any equipment details. I stay available until the event date for suggestions and afterward for feedback, if you have any to share. For nutrition counseling: At initial visits, we talk for an hour. We take into account your medical history, goals, and current issues. We set up a personalized plan and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a registered dietitian (RD). I have completed and graduated from a 4 year program in dietetics at an accredited undergraduate university (UC Davis), completed 1200 supervised-practice hours, and passed a national exam to earn the RD credential. I maintain 75 hours of continuing education study for each re-certification cycle. A registered dietitian is the ONLY qualified nutrition professional to apply diet therapy to individuals for diagnosed medical conditions.
