Several years ago on Janelle's web page I saw a sketch of 2 lovely sea horses and told her how much I liked them. Janelle then painted the sea horses for me in beautiful deep blue and green tones. Recently I purchased a condo and wanted a matching painting but in triptych style. Janelle create an absolutely gorgeous match that not only complimented the original sea horse painting, but added whimsy (think Nemo), a great turtle, coral, and a sea urchin.
    Stunning.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I don't really receive a common type of job. Each job has been entirely different than the one before it. Small or big, interior or exterior, home or commercial, mural, decorative finish or signage or other. The combination changes in each upcoming project. I find it exciting and I enjoy the versatility.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. It's great if you know at least a little of what you want in advance.

Also, know your budget.

It's important to consider that the work may take longer than your original anticipated time frame; whether its decorative paint restoration to fix the appearance of a water damaged wall, an exterior mural or whatever you are looking to have done. I like to assess in advance to give a time-line to my clients. In part, the weather forecast is very much a factor for exterior work.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We are diverse in both our experience and in our ability to be creative. We love to take on challenges and exceed the expectations of our clients.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We really enjoy the whole concept of providing aesthetics to walls and surfaces that once were bland and now have life.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. The most common question people ask is, "Do you think you can do this?" and the answer is "Yes." We love to do what we do, and we want to create something for your appreciation.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I realized that I could bring my creativity to a different level by offering my services to home owners and businesses. In doing so I can full fill requests, get my art out there and be my creative self and earn money doing it. I wanted to broaden my opportunity as an artist.
