I am practitioner of Taropy. This term was coined by a dear friend of mine who comes to me regularly for tarot card readings. He called it that as I use the cards as a practical tool for healing, exploration and fun. I do not believe in fate and know that our future is always changing. The tarot cards can help us to make better decisions and to see our life with more clarity. They are also a great tool for story telling. I have worn costumes and enjoy creating an exciting experience but I most often will be found in a pencil skirt and red lipstick.
I have worked events and private parties and I also read them every Sunday at Dogwood in Oakland. I also have private clients who receive a more intensive reading.
What I enjoy most about reading the cards is having conversations with all sorts of different people. Conversations that are meaningful and hopefully illuminating. I have had people come to me a year or so after a readings to tell me how their life had changed as a result or more appropriately, as a result of the choices they made after that reading. Helping people to find their way through a conflict or embracing good news or knowing which path they should take is wonderful. I feel honored to have had that experience with so many.
