Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I don't have any insider secrets to share but when I do, I promise to update this. But as a customer interviewing consultants, I recommend that if you click with a consultant but he/she is a little pricier than the others, go with them anyway. That click is incredibly important and critical to the success of your partnership. Be sure to let the consultant know that you have put your faith in them. In addition, always be honest with your consultant. They can't read your mind and will appreciate your feedback. And if you are happy with your consultant, please refer them. This is critical to the expansion of our businesses.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Changing your image and style isn't always easy. While I promise to make it as much for you as I can, most of the heavy lifting is up to you. Are you ready to commit to making the change? Also consider your budget and how much you are comfortable spending both for fee and what you can spend to make the other changes you are striving to achieve. Often this includes other things besides clothing including cosmetics, skincare, presentation courses, life coach, hair, and exercise.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I listen to my clients and digest what they are looking to achieve. Leveraging my philosophy and process, my clients receive effective recommendations and ultimately results. And most importantly, shopping becomes fun again for my clients.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I LOVE everything about being a consultant. Watching my clients look in the mirror and see what I see makes me smile. Receiving the emails from clients telling me how astounded at the positive reactions from their friends, family and strangers makes me smile. And what really makes me happy is when my clients are no longer skeptical when I ask them to try a new style when we shop. They trust me. It doesn't get better than that.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How do wear I ______? Clients always want to understand how to wear new trends. My advice is to play around with clothes since what they look like on the hangar is not necessarily the only way to wear it. Another question is will your push your style on me? I always smile and say definitely not. Style is personal, we are here to define yours.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I have always loved fashion. From the texture of fabric, to the patterns, the drape of a dress. I opted for other lines of work in my younger days but realized that I made a mistake as these other jobs didn't make me happy. When a friend told me that I should get paid for all of the work that I do for friends and colleagues, I decided she was right. And here we are.
