I offer food coaching and high-intensity personal training. Depending on needs and requests, I instruct my clients in how to do cardio, plyometric and weight-bearing exercise, and then in how to eat in order to achieve their fitness goals.

I do offer nutritional advice without physical training, and workouts without any jibber-jabber on food. Eating right and exercising both get easier when you pursue them in tandem, but my services come a la carte, if you will.

I often run cardio sessions for couples, or split my services between a couple (one wants to exercise but can't be told what not to eat, one will dial in on food but hates soreness and sweat) for the same fee.

Past clients have stayed on my regimen because they:
* Did not feel hungry.
* Did not feel deprived.
* Actually felt happier and more energetic.
* Thus, lost body fat and did not gain it back.

I hold a Crossfit nutrition certification and can prescribe an anti-inflammatory, pro-energy, pro-performance, pro-longevity diet for anyone from the most dedicated athlete to the most jaded of former dieters.

I will get on the phone for clients not living in San Francisco or pressed for free time.

As an alternative to my hourly rate of $30, I offer a monthly unlimited plan to clients and client couples that lets them schedule as many workouts and consultations as they like for a period of 30 days. The current unlimited rate is $300/month.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I emphasize fun because if you actually enjoy what you do for exercise, you'll do it consistently. I try to get people into the habit of sports they've enjoyed before and show them new things they might like.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The freedom, the physicality and the fact that I get to work outdoors. The desk jockey population supplies most of my clients because being one is actively unhealthy. The office is killing you.
