Goals
Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My work stands out from others because I have been exactly where you are now. I have been unmotivated and sluggish and I still am from time to time. I am a real person who can help you achieve your goals. I can decrease your stress and increase your energy levels, now who doesn't want that? I love interacting with every person I meet and seeing them change along the way. Most of my clients have been with me for years and are hooked on staying active and fit. My clients are almost like family to me and that is why I love my job.

I always looked at exercise as a chore. A painful one! But working out with Laura has taught me that exercise and becoming healthy is more than burning calories and getting into shape. In fact, it's an opportunity to reinvent your life. I am healthier, sleep better, stronger so I can keep up with my 4 year old son and I am happier. Happier not because I fit into tighter jeans, but because I have found a healthier outlook on life. In addition I have been so lucky to make deep connections with Laura and others who work out with her. It has been nothing other than an absolutely positive experience. I now don't look at working out as a chore to cross off my day. In fact, it's now a very enjoyable part of my day. Every day!

Where do I begin? For those of you natives from the Bay Area, Laura is a blend of Joannie Greggains (late 80's, anyone?) and Richard Simmons. Laura's approach is three doses academic and the rest fun, fun, fun. I am not athletic and have never become addicted to working out. Laura has changed my attitude. I am 52 and my arms rock.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I decided to become a personal trainer because I played sports all my like and started coaching High school fired hockey after being a social working and a photographer. My team inspired me every day to work harder. They challenged me to teach them in new and creative ways. One day I thought fitness can be fun, you just have to be creative in order to do it.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look around and try people out. If you did not feel a connection with that person their are more professionals out there that can help inspire you. You should want to meet with your trainer not dread it. That being said, give your trainers a shot with at least 3 sessions.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

    I am your friend!
