Introduction: I use a method of training that involves neuro-science to help my clients move better. It can be applied to anyone from someone who wants to get out of pain to someone trying to get better at their sport. I sought out this form of training because I felt that people should start to expect more from their trainers. Yes, I know how to swing a kettle bell, lift a barbell, do yoga, etc. and I can confidently say that I am great at motivating and keeping things interesting but what I really wanted to do was change my clients lives and this technique allows me to do so. I've seen some incredible changes in the way my clients move and feel and that makes me happy. I love it when I can be a part of my clients achievements. It can be as simple as "Hey Tif, I was carrying my groceries up the stairs the other day and it felt so easy. I feel strong!" Somehow knowing I helped in a small way makes my heart pound. I also love nerding out on the science of the human body and brain. We are such incredible specimens and I sometimes think we forget to appreciate that. Doing what I do, allows me to see and experience that gratitude on the daily. And because science is always changing, it keeps me on my toes and has me always learning.
