Introduction: As a professional dog walker, it is my responsibility to help the dog maintain a healthy exercise program, enjoy social interaction and relieve himself during the day. Please be mindful of these three things. As a dog walker, I obtain some existing clients and begin an assignment without meeting the dog in advance. Rest assured, someone from our staff has already met and screened the dog and are aware of his demeanor. We would never send anyone into an environment where a dog may be aggressive toward you. New dog walking clients will require an initial set visit where we will go out and meet the clients, become familiar with the dog and record any specific instructions. At that time, we will be given a key to client's home or shown where the key is hidden outside. You will be compensated for this visit that generally lasts about 30 minutes. Dog walks are a minimum of 20 minutes. However, clients may request a longer or shorter walk based on their pet's needs. Please be aware that neighbors, landscapers, people working in the home, etc., are watching us and will report back if we shorten the walk. Aside from that, it just isn't fair to the dog! Dog walks generally take place during the midday hours (normally between 11:00 a.m - 2:00 p.m.). Clients may request an earlier or later time based on their daily routine. We allow a 1-hour window of flexibility within the desired time.
