Craig has been walking my best friend Zeus (a 10 pound dachshund-chihuahua mix) for several months now and it's been a lifesaver. Zeus loves Craig, and so do we! It's so comforting to have someone we trust taking care of our little guy during the day. Zeus is aggressive toward other dogs, so it takes an experienced person to work with him, and Craig has no problem handling that situation. Another wonderful thing about Craig is that he's incredibly flexible and understanding when we have to make a last minute change here and there. I know I can always count on Craig, even in a crunch, and it's been so helpful. He's always easy to reach and was incredibly accommodating when we asked if we could pay via Venmo or Square cash instead of writing checks. I recommend Craig to all of my friends looking for some help with their dogs!

Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the service that Craig has provided us and our dog! Our little terrier Miller has been walked by a few different companies around San Francisco and none have come close to the service that Craig provides. Always on time, always courteous, and very personable. A big plus - Miller is always exhausted every single time he comes home from his walks. Both my girlfriend and I work from 8am - 6pm and it's always a stressful situation to find a dog walker that you can trust with your own dog. Craig is exactly what we have been waiting for. Miller walks 5 days a week for an hour (though Craig does other services) and I would recommend his services, wholeheartedly. 2 thumbs up! I'd be happy to give further feedback to anyone that's interested. - Jared

Hired on Thumbtack

Frist thumbtack review and I felt that I needed to write it to caution fellow dog owners who find trust to be the most important attribute in a dog walker. I hired Craig to walk my three dogs (2 adults and 1 puppy) on a week by week basis since the scheduling of the puppy and training were unpredictable. We ended up agreeing on walking the two adult dogs for 45 minutes every day for the first week since the puppy wasn't ready for outside walks yet. I should've know from the beginning because Craig immediately started pestering me to venmo him for the entire month. Since we were just starting with him and were unsure of the scheduling for the entire month, I reminded him again that we would need to schedule week by week. Fast forward to the first day of dog walking. We have a doorman in my building who we have a close relationship with which is great because he can help us keep an eye out for situations like new dog walkers, house cleaners etc. He also is responsible for giving and receiving the key to our unit and letting visitors upstairs into the unit. After the first day, I asked my door man how the first day with the dog walker was and he told me he dropped by around 11am and left at 11:21am and just took the dogs down to the courtyard of our condos (which dogs are not allowed in). Interesting, since Craig and I agreed that the dogs would have a 45 minute walk. I wanted to give Craig the benefit of the doubt since it was the first day of walking and he probably needed to get to know the dogs. Therefore, sent him a friendly text saying "the dogs are usually pooped after 30 minutes of walking so can we be sure they have their full 45 minute walk?" That was when Craig immediately got defensive and told me that I was a liar and micro managing him. As a dog owner, the most important thing I look for in a dog walker is trust. Not only are you walking my fur children, but I am allowing you access to my home when I'm not there. He was already like this on the very first day. Since Craig called me a liar for calling him out on only spending 20 minutes with my dogs, even though I paid for a 45 minute walk, I took it up to finding hard evidence. Luckily my building is very secure and we are able to see when Craig left my unit which was 11:08-11:24am. 16 minutes.
