Portrait, Event & Commercial Photography

I shoot portraits, events (conferences, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, parties), products, panoramas (decor), performance, architectural and editorial.

Online galleries are available for sharing photos from your event(s) with others. I will travel virtually anywhere; travel costs are extra and will be quoted per job.

Regular local day rates (Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm): $600/4 hours; $1000/8 hours. Early morning, night and weekend rates quoted upon request. Weddings start at $1250.

I can work within your budget. I can shoot digitally or with film, and I make every attempt to turn photos around as quickly as possible.

Discounts available for artists, musicians and non-profit organizations.

  Patrick was great to work with. I hired him to take pictures of my best friend, me, and our two kids. We met in Golden Gate park and had beautiful backdrops to take the pictures. Patrick was easy going, thorough, and adjusted his strategy based on our kids (mine would not sit still!).
  
  He was also responsive over email, over the phone, and over text, which I really appreciated.
  
  Finally, Patrick took wonderful pictures! He took many photos of us looking at the camera (which we asked for), but also did a great job of following us around and capturing interactions between us. I am happy with our entire experience and would gladly hire him again.

  Patrick was our wedding photographer, and he went above and beyond for us in too many ways to list. He was professional, hardworking and thoughtful in every way, disappearing into the background yet catching so many amazing moments throughout the evening. Patrick is not your traditional wedding photographer, but that was not what we were looking for. His work speaks for itself, and we recommend him highly.

  In looking for a photographer for our wedding, our main goal was to
  find someone who could portray the events of the day as they were
  happening. We were less interested in formal photos and more
  interested in emotions and ambiance. Before the wedding, Patrick took the time to get to know us as a couple to better depict our
  relationship. He made a concerted effort to learn the names of our
  families, the bridal party, and even by the end of the night several
  of the guests. Patrick did a wonderful job capturing the special
  moments – a smile here, a look there – which allows us to look back on our pictures and relive the experience. As circumstances changed during the day, he improvised and provided us with a great final product. Overall, Patrick was very flexible and added an artistic
  touch to our wedding. We are thrilled with our pictures and would

  My sister is a photographer who introduced me to Patrick's work on Flicker. When he moved to San Francisco she connected us. On a whim I asked him to photograph my 70th birthday party, a large affair at local club, never having met him. He showed up, and spent the night capturing indelible images like a ghost. He never intruded on a moment or a person and yet gave me hundreds of photos that perfectly capture the night. This guy is an ace! Honest, prompt, and with an eye that you can't pay for. I'd use him again in a heart-beat, and wish that I had more time to hang out with him.

  I discovered Patrick's photographic work about 4 years ago, his attention to detail and sharp eye stroke me instantly and therefore it was a very easy decision to choose him as our official photographer for our wedding. As expected, we were very pleased by the results, he got back to us with some very professional images both on films and digital which were more than what we could have expected. Through his lenses he made us look beautiful and he captured perfectly the essence of the day. I am glad we worked with him, the images we will have, to look at for the many years to come, will still carry the same magic that was happening that special day.
