FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Despite my current knowledge of my craft, I still will always consider myself a student. I go over the basics constantly, keep up with trends, explore through images of other photographers, and continuously experiment to bring along new skills to future jobs. So, to answer the question, yes, I partake in continuing education.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Photography has been an activity I've committed myself to since I was a child. At family gatherings, my father would lazily hand me the camera, so he could go schmooze. However, it didn't bother me at all. I recorded the family, friends, and acquaintances. This eventually lead to the now, habitual labor of love of creating images. I've always thought it best to learn through experiences and people. Through photography, I'm able incorporate my passion into my lifestyle. Whether it be surfing, hiking, traveling, or simply exploring my hometown, photography is a form of expression that I couldn't stop doing, even if it didn't pay my bills.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs I do is portraiture work with a mixture of lifestyle thrown in. This usually includes some sort of brainstorming activity between the client and I in finding the best way to represent what they do, or what they already are.
