I'm always taking classes, going to meetups, following other photographers - checking out their photos, asking questions, learning and being inspired.

- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For me the two most important things about hiring a photographer are perhaps the most obvious - that you like them and you like their work. Because you'll be spending time with your photographer and they'll be at your wedding or event, it's really important that you actually like them. Sometimes we choose because someone's well known or expensive (or not expensive), and I think it's important to meet your photographer and like them. Second, it's important you like their photos. Everyone has their own style - mine is bright and true to life - so it's important you like that style and it's what you want.
