FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices always depend on the what you as a client wants. I can't promise you Lord of the Rings on a small budget, but I can promise that we find a solution that fits your needs. Send me a detailed description of what you'd like and I can deliver and estimate usually in the same day.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning new techniques through blogs and tutorials, as well as a website called skillshare. Skillshare allows me to take classes on photoshop, video editing, and visual effects.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I didn't originally plan on being a creative; I studied to be an engineer and got my B.S. in Civil Engineering in 2008. I was a practicing engineer for 2 years, and then in 2010 the economy tanked and I was laid off. I picked up photography as a habit while I was an engineer and I instantly fell in love with it. I got a job as a Social Media Manager job at Borrowlenses.com and taught myself everything about photography, lighting, and picked up video along the way. I took the dive to go full time freelance just last year, and here I am today, 3 years later, still shooting, having fun, and making a decent living out of it.
