Bella Piano

Introduction: Ms. Bella Chen is a San Francisco-based Pianist, Piano Teacher, Film Music Composer, and Sound Designer. She moved to San Francisco from Beijing, China in 2012. She holds a B.A. in Piano Performance from Tianjin Normal University in China, and an MFA in Music Production & Sound Design For Visual Media from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. Ms. Bella started professional music training when she was 4 years old. In the summer of 2011, she had her personal piano recital in China. After she moved to San Francisco, she has been hired as a piano accompanist from Lincoln High School, Academy of Art University Choir Club, First United Presbyterian Church, and New Life Church of The Nazarene. Currently, she serves as a choir accompanist at First Presbyterian Church of Burlingame. Bella is also a recording pianist for film music as well. Ms. Bella has over 8 years of experience as a piano teacher; her students range from young kids to adults in all age groups both in the US and China. Her enjoyment and enthusiasm-teaching piano are extremely evident and therefore contagious to her students. She not only pays attention to built up the technical skill, but also foster in her students and appreciation for and impart some discernment of music. The only requirement is that you let her built your love and passion of music. Ms. Bella is also a talented composer who writes and arranges original music in different genre for various visual media such as feature films, television shows, animations, video games, apps, commercials and movie trailers, etc. Her music demo has been selected for the AAU spring show in 2016. Ms. Bella has over 8 years of experience as a piano teacher; her students range from young kids to adults in all age groups both in the US and China. Her enjoyment and enthusiasm-teaching piano are extremely evident and therefore contagious to her students.
