Introduction: I offer individual psychotherapy for adults as well as couples and/or family counseling.
My work is inspired by my dedication and passion for understanding human psychology drawing from a variety of sources, including a cutting-edge theory from Western science and ancient wisdom teachings from the East.
My approach with individuals, couples, and families is engaging, warm, and compassionate. I hold a wide capacity for listening and understanding each person's unique experiences and offering gentle or firm guidance where it is called for. I use a number of methods and practices to inquire and explore psychological challenges in sessions and also teach clients things they can do on their own to support their psychological growth.

Payton is really great. Her approach is very respectful and intuitive. She gives space to make discoveries and yet at the same time helps find the words to encapsulate what can be sometimes difficult concepts. She has a quiet, non-judgemental approach. I always come away from a session with her feeling clear and positive. She is an advocate for allowing time for healing (and not rushing - being gentle with ourselves) which is very important when moving forward through an emotionally challenging time.

Payton was a great aide through some difficult passages. Very patient, while also maintaining a gentle persistence in myself moving forward by challenging me to put words to my feelings and experience which was ultimately cathartic and healing. Thankyou Payton!

Payton asked me questions about my history to get a better understanding of me. After talking for a while, we did a guided meditation and I felt more relaxed afterwards. We talked over some spirituality concepts too as she tried to know me better
