- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We attend industry wine tasting events on a very regular basis, tasting new releases from thousands of producers, and constantly adjusting our portfolio to ensure we have access to the best wines we can find.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I drink a lot of wine. Over the years, I found that I favored wines that were produced by small, artisan winemakers, as opposed to the large 'big box' brands. Many of those brands spill more in a day than the little guys make in a year. The wines have more character, and the people behind the scenes have amazing stories to tell. After getting to know many small producers (and drinking their wine), I realized there was a business opportunity to help them get the word out, while pleasing the palates of wine enthusiasts across the country. And WineSavage was born. We have a consumer wine club, corporate wine clubs, and provide custom procurement services for events. It's all fun!
