More Portrait Photographers South San Francisco

Photography & Videography Services

I am a professional portrait photographer. My work consists primarily of editorial and commercial portraiture and has been described as "mysterious and haunting, dramatic yet subtle".
As well as photographic services, I also offer video services, digital retouching and post production and have connections with talents such as models, hair and MUA.

Mostly my work is on-location, but I am no stranger to the photo studio as well. I work with many local businesses and have worked internationally as well. I shoot head shots, corporate portraits and occasionally find myself shooting eloping couples at City Hall.

My clients include:

- Glide
- San Francisco Community Consortium
- VMWare
- Paul's Hat Works
- Dark Garden
- SFWIRE

Question and answer

  • Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

    A. Come to me with your big ideas, I will investigate what it realistically takes to make it happen. Keep an open mind, and ask a lot of questions.

  • Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

    A. Professional Photographers have huge overhead. Computers, cameras, storage, internet, marketing, portfolio making. People that say digital is cheaper than film simply does not know what it necessary to run a digital photography service.

  • Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

    A. Think about exactly what t is you want. Do you want an outdoor portrait, indoor portrait or a studio portrait? Think about the look and feeling you want people to have when they look at your picture.

  • Q. What do you like most about your job?

    A. I like the process. The planning, the execution, the post production all the way to seeing the final image on my screen or better yet in print. Creating something that is meaningful to me and to others.

  • Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

    A. I recently shot an ad campaign for GLIDE in San Francisco. We were dealing with 5 drag queens so I set up my studio 3 hours early so we could move through the shots quickly. It ended up being a breeze and a total blast, the client loved the photos and they even ended up licensing the behind the scenes video we shot that day as well.
