- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally charge $72/hr or a range for a particular scope of work so that customers may know what to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Planning & research: We start out by collectively arriving at a strategy for the design and a plan to reach our goals. In this phase, we research the client's industry, the competitive field, and product's value proposition, and outline the design process. 2. Synthesis & level-setting: We synthesize our research to find a logical and inspirational direction for the design. 3. Iteration: We then iterate on a solution that will satisfy stakeholders and create design value. 4. Deliverables: The designs you need are all wrapped up with a bow for delivery to developers, printers, or other production teams. 5. QA: We can ensure that the final product matches the design intent by conducting thorough quality assurance of digital products, or press checks for printed pieces.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Master's in Design at California College of the Arts, BFA in Visual Arts at Brown University. Classes at RISD in graphic design; continuing education classes in coding and website design.
