Introduction: My work stands out because I practice what I teach. I never ask my students to do anything I haven't done that same day in my own body. I take a strong stand for correct alignment and building proper muscle so that you can build up your practice safely and injury free. I also LOVE to do inversions and arm balances so I will create sequences in order to warm up and build muscles so that these peak poses can be done with safety and ease. I really love creative sequencing. I love the feeling of getting lost in a yoga class because of the order of the poses, therefore, I try to create that feeling for my students so that they can let go of the mindset of needing to know what is next.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I just came back from Bali for continuing education where I studied with Les Leventhal for 5 weeks. The modules completed were: History, Philosophy, Anatomy, Nutrition, Ethics, Injury Modification.

    Two or three times per week is most common for one hour or ninety minutes depending on your level.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Ask questions so that you know what you are getting. Find out who I've studied with, what training I've had and what experience I've had that might be useful for you. Be honest in what you are looking for. If you are really a beginner, say so. If you have injuries (body, mind, or spirit) do not be embarrassed about them, the best way for you to have a remarkable experience is for us to work together through those injuries.
