After researching artificial turf replacement for our existing front lawn, discovered True Turf on Thumbtack. Contacted Rich St. Clair to schedule an estimate We had specific requirements (Pet friendly and short dense turf due to heavy oak leaves and acorns). Rich is a really stand-up guy! It’s been great working with him. Out of the 7+ quotes I got for my project, Rich was the only one that had a full presentation on turf installation. He also brought many samples to choose from. He was knowledgeable and friendly. A very honest person. His quote was also the most reasonable pricing. My lawn was finished in 4 days and my dog loves the new turf! I’d highly recommend Rich and his team.

It's hard to write enough good things about working with Rich and his crew. The turf itself looks really good, with a little bit of shorter brown blades which make it look more grass-like. The turf doesn't have as much grain to it. Rich is thorough, and explains things well. Good communicator. No surprises. You should be willing to pay more for the better product and better service that you will get from Rich. It's worth it. I can't recommend highly enough.

Generally, a customer will spend more money per square foot on smaller projects versus larger areas.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would come out to visit the property to see what the customer has in mind. Measure the area(s) for square footage. Then sit down with the customer to go over the process of installation, timeline, expectations, and other questions/concerns. Providing the customer with a price and if customer wants to move forward - contract signing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 15 years of experience in in-home sales - selling windows, heating and a/c, and solar. Last 2 years with artificial turf.
