I was desperate when I first contacted Daniel. My master's thesis was being held up for approval. I had a deadline to meet in order to graduate on time. Even though electrical engineering is not his field, Daniel did a masterful job of helping me work out all the issues, with regard to both content and formatting. He works quickly and efficiently, so for me it was cost-effective. I might have paid less to someone else but if I didn't get what I needed, what good would the "savings" have done me? I also needed help in communicating with various personalities involved in the process. Daniel very skillfully helped me navigate these tricky waters, assisting with both strategy and mechanics. The end result was that my thesis was approved by the required deadline! Later, I decided to apply to a very competitive Ph.D. program. I came to Daniel with rough drafts of my application materials, including two essays. He clearly analyzed for me what the weaknesses were and showed me how to strengthen my presentation. Here, too, there was a lot of strategy involved and Daniel provided me with the expert guidance that I don't think I could have gotten anywhere else. This week, my dream came true when I was notified that I have been accepted into the program! My doctoral dissertation was seriously challenged to the point that I felt completely stuck. I searched far and wide for someone who could help me with everything from locating source materials to structuring my study to writing and editing (all those important things that my committee members were not helping with). Over the months, Dan expertly and patiently guided me through everything, including preparation for my defense. Looking at my email account, I see that we exchanged more than 400 messages. Look for someone with years of experience, showing a long and successful track record. Look for documentation of satisfied clients. Look for someone who is PATIENT, pleasant and DETAIL-ORIENTED. Look for someone whose promotional copy is well-written, ideally with no errors. (If a service provider can't even do a good job with his or her own material, that doesn't bode well for your project!) Understand that, in order to receive an acceptable level of quality, you will have to pay a certain price. You will always find someone to quote you a low fee but your money will be wasted if you don't get the level of quality that you need. These are labor-intensive services, requiring specialized knowledge and a particular skill set that takes years to develop. It's not off-the-shelf product that lends itself to being sold cheaply through economies of scale. Request a get-acquainted session, in which you sit down together, to discuss your situation and your individual needs. The service provider should be willing to do this at no cost or obligation to you.
