Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask for references and check license status and whether
or not they have workman's comp and liability insurance
without workman's comp insurance they cannot have employees on the job site

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Always check the license status and whether or not
your contractor has liability and workman's comp insurance, it is better than getting sued if someone get's hurt on the jobsite, legally without workman's comp insurance a contractor cannot have employees and also a contractor license is needed for any job OVER 500 dollars labor AND materials

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. When doing any renovation you must always consider first
whether or not you will need permits, this is especially important when doing a tenant improvement, the rules and requirements by the city are getting extremely complex and they are having the people who are leasing commercial spaces now hire an architect and make changes to the parking areas to bring them up to code, which puts a tremendous burden on smaller businesses that are starting up, consulting someone such as myself or someone else is a must, i usually don't charge anything for estimates and advice, my doors are always open

A. absolute honesty with customers, no exceptions, it is
done right the first time, everytime. The bulk of my work is by reccomendation from other customers, and those customers are with me for life, they always call me when something goes wrong

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I take great pride in my work and i am very good at it,
doing both commercial and residential remodeling and tenant improvements
