Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. I'am a professional guitar teacher and musician!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Find someone you feel comfortable with.Both the student and the teacher must be able to connect with one another.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The art of music is not a secret.To become good or even great you have to put in the time.It takes many years.You have to work hard.As they say,practice makes perfect.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. They should own their own guitar and it should tune well.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We specialize in Blues and Jazz music,plus we offer a student jam session once a month.Also we have two Student recitals a year.One in the Winter and one in the Summer.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love to teach guitar and to be able to share my knowledge of music with others.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most of the time they ask how long before they will be playing.Thats a hard question because everybody is differrent.Some people pick it up right away and others it takes awhile.In most cases it takes about a month for most people to be able to play alittle something on the guitar.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. That I've been playing for 40 years and that I've been teaching for 28 years.I've played with many professional musicians and famous artist's like John Lee Hooker,Bo Diddley,Albert King,Paul Simon and many more!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I was drawn to it as a teenager.I just knew that I wanted to be a guitarist!

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I'am proud of many of my students who have gone on to play professionally in the business.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. As a teacher,I am always learning.It's a lifetime of study.I'am always playing and learning new techniques for guitar and for music in general.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Have patience for one.It takes many years to become a professional.You should do it for the Love of it first and foremost.
