My gate was seriously damaged during one of our recent very windy storms. MS responded almost immediately and was able to come out to repair it within a couple days. They rebuilt the gate and I could not be any happier with the results. I plan on using them to have the fence stained this spring. Thanks for your prompt and professional help!

We recently moved into a new home and realized shortly afterwards that the pair of gates leading to the backyard were very poorly constructed. The hinges were completely misaligned, the doors did not latch, and there were fundamental problems about opening the doors in general (one of the gates was nailed shut to the post!) It was a fantastic and seamless experience working with Mike and his team. Mike was responsive, patient, very experienced/knowledgeable, and was willing to work with my budget. His team (Yuri/Andrei) showed up on time and quickly got to work disassembling the door and rebuilding it with improved fortification and appropriate hinges to open and close like new! I am grateful for the expert work done by MS Construction & Service. I recommend them to anyone needing fence repairs.

Mike (Mikhail), the owner, was very responsive to all communications, typically responding within a few minutes. He provided an estimate to replace my old, structurally compromised front gate, immediately after I texted photos. And the estimate was competitive. His field crew -- Stas & Denis -- did an excellent job installing the new gate. Not only is it well built; it's a stunner. I appreciated their resourcefulness: when a couple of minor challenges emerged, they developed clever and efficient solutions that actually worked. Stas & Denis were attentive and incredibly respectful, addressing each of my concerns as the project progressed. It certainly didn't hurt that they were friendly and personable. In closing, I highly recommend MS Construction (and Thumbtack!) for homeowners considering wooden fence/gate replacement or repair.

Mikhail ("Mike") quoted our gate repair (sagging post and wall) and our exterior fence repair (missing boards, cracked boards) projects. His quote was very reasonable, and we wanted to get the work underway. Mike's crew comprised two very confident and capable guys (Stas and Denis), who arrived exactly on time on Day 1, down to the minute. We reviewed all details and walked the site, and the crew left and purchased the required materials for these 2 projects. The projects ultimately spanned 2 days, and both Stas and Denis went way up and beyond what I had expected. First, they completely dismantled the gate, posts, and fence sections; they replaced posts and secured with concrete, as it should have been done when the fence was installed way back in the day. Now, the gate is super solid, and the posts/gate are plumb and sturdy as can be. A+ on that project. Then, the guys moved to repairing the exterior fence. Instead of replacing a few bad/missing boards, they removed and reinstalled every single board/plank (about 55-60 or so). Stas and Denis impressed me, as they alternated new and existing boards in a repeating pattern, that it looked liked they installed an entirely new fence. If I stain the fence, no one would be able to tell. I expected functional repairs, but they gave us what looks a much better visually-appealing product, also made much more sound by installing wood screws and hardware replacing the prior cheap nails. Another A+ on that project. Both guys put in more time versus what I thought they would do, with the original attractive estimate still the project's price. Mike was very responsive throughout by sending me regular text updates. Stas and Denis explained exactly what they were doing throughout and asked for inputs when needed. Exceptional quality. Very, very hardworking guys: Stas and Denis are among the hardest working duos I've seen in my many projects over the years. I plan to call Mike again when the next project comes along.
