I am a single female & consider myself partial handy. I've done little projects like assemble IKEA desk/table. However, having a demanding job, I find it very hard to come around to do DIY. I had quite a few projects that had been piling up mainly because I had no luck finding a reliable and reasonable rate handyman. I am ecstatic my friend hooked me up with Quality Home Projects and handyman Stuart. He highly recommended Stuart. Unlike other places that I called, Stuart was responsive and his rates very reasonable. I found him punctual, reliable and trustworthy. Over the past 6 weeks I got a few projects done through Quality Home Projects: Security Camera system, blinds in my living room, shade in my dining room, mantel over fireplace, mount TV on the wall, assemble sideboard buffet (Wayfair), assemble filing cabinet (Target), install kitchen water filter system (LOWES), replaced my old pendant light fixtures with new cute ones, re-shelved my walk-in closet, added shelves in my pantry, changed shower head in bathroom, made mobile raised bed for gardening, planted a tree in my front yard. All along I felt I was in good hands with Quality Home Projects because Stuart strikes me as a handyman with a sound knowledge of do's and don'ts and safety is his priority. Later I referred him to my brother for ceiling fan, security camera, water filter system, outdoor lights, closet organization shelves. He also took down a shed for a friend of mine's back yard that they needed to demolish. I highly recommend Quality Home Projects.

Stuart helped put together some furniture , mount a security camera, doorbell and a light fixture. He also helped us with plumbing related tasks . He was very professional and did an excellent job at everything. It was very easy to schedule an appointment with him and he was flexible and understanding when we needed to reschedule due to a delay in our furniture order. We highly recommend him .

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge an hourly rate of $100 per hour. I offer a 10% discount for multiple projects. I charge a $50 travel fee for jobs outside of my service area. I do not charge for estimates.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The customer contacts me and describes the project they need help with. I schedule a time to come to the customer's home or business to assess the project. I provide the customer with an estimate for the project. If the customer approves the estimate, I schedule a time to start the project. I complete the project and provide the customer with a final invoice.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a high school diploma, Bachelor of Science and Masters (MBA) I am a certified Building Performance Analyst. I also have two certifications in Solar Installation. I have over 15 years of experience working as a handyman. I am licensed and insured.
