Selvin recently undertook a project at my place installing a rather largish and complex kitchen backsplash. He was responsive, very reasonable with his price and did amazing work with one of his colleague. He was prompt and was able to come next day. They completed the job the same day.
Selvin also was able to come visit at a very short notice to fix an issue with our kitchen sink shut off valve and replaced the kitchen sink! Overall I am very happy with the quality of the work, professionalism he showed and would not hesitate to get his help again

Selvin managed the repair and renovation of our 1950s house very professionally and responsibly. During the project, which included the redesign and remodeling of an outdated kitchen, the installation of new flooring throughout the house, the repair of several electrical, updates to the laundry room, and the addition of a new security gate, Selvin did an outstanding job of selecting and purchasing materials, keeping our costs reasonable, supervising workers, and making adjustments along the way as needed or as requested by us. He finished the project on time, cleaned up after the work, and checked back with us afterwards to make sure that everything was satisfactory. We recommend him highly if you are thinking of renovating an older home in the Bay Area.

Very prompt. Super cooperative. Very flexible. A very good value.
He painted a small, 5 store commercial strip center for us. He adjusted his schedule to accommodate the store keepers and customers. Excellent clean up. I think he would be trustworthy for residential also.

He did a good job for install toilet and fixing the door adjustment. He even bought wax ring and didn't ask for extra. If you need toilet install or door adjustment, he is good. He arrived on time.
But when i asked him to put back the floor trimer, he argued that wasn't part of his job. I said that should be part of the door job. He tried to put it back and it was broken.
The dust cleaning was very disappointing. He used a wet towel to wipe the dust on the newly painted wall. Guess what, the wall now has a permanent brown dusty color that won't come off.
I asked him if he know how to clean the wall before he started. He said yes. He won't take the trash to the trash bin saying that wasn't part of his job. He was in a hurry to leave saying he has other job to do.
He quoted me $11 for the job. Bc he said thumbtack will charge him more. I paid $180 for him to install a toilet, adjust the door height and clean off the wall dust.
Now I have to find another painter to fix the paint, a contractor to fix the door trim and a house cleaner to clean out the trash. More jobs for the contractors. :-(
