Dawn cleaned our 7-bedroom house in Redwood City for a very reasonable price. We trusted her to clean our home while we were not there. She provided references when we asked so that we could make sure we felt comfortable letting he be in our house alone.
Dawn did a good job cleaning, though she could have been more thorough in certain areas (e.g., the floors in some of the bedrooms). She not only cleaned but put our stuff away in the kitchen and other rooms in an orderly way.
Dawn was also easy and delightful to deal with during the booking process on Thumbtack and was very responsive to our messages. We were able to book her quickly over e-mail at the date / time of our choosing.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. I would want to know how much good 'green' products really cost and where is the best place to buy them. Fortunately, I have the scoop on the best concentrated 'green' products in the industry. This company was 'green' long before green was popular and has been in business for the last 25 years perfecting their formula's so cleaners like me can use them to clean your home. They are less expensive than the brands in the grocery store and work much better. If I tell you my secret, you might not need me anymore! Just kidding! I get my products from a little known company called Melaleuca and have been providing 'green' cleaning services for close to 7 years. Before I started cleaning I used these products in my own home and was impressed and excited the very first time I used them. I love when my clients say, "WOW, these products smell great!" or "Where can I get some of your green products for myself." My favorite is, "You really did a great job with those green products because other green products don't usually work that good." This is when I smile and say, "Thanks so much! See you next time!"
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. My work stands out because I use non toxic cleaners and I do it ALL for LESS than the big name brand services. I pay attention to detail and I am someone people can trust.

A. I like to make my customers smile knowing they can come home to a beautifully cleaned home that smells fresh and non toxic.

A. How much do you charge?
I charge by the job and how big the house is. I charge extra for cleaning out a refrigerator, a garage, or for extra big jobs.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I think people need to realize cleaning is hard work that deserves fair pay. I have had several clients want to hire me for eight hours and then want to pay me less than minimum wage. Most cleaners will not clean for that wage today.
We are cleaning professionals. Cleaning is hard work and it has to be done right, not everyone can do this well. Please respect your cleaner as you would any other professional, just as we should respect you. Thank-you.
