I own a property in San Jose and I'm looking to sell it soon. I hired Future Vision Remodeling to redo the bathroom since it needed a lot of work. They redid the entire bathroom in 4 weeks and definitely increased the property value significantly. The home inspector confirmed this. They are definitely reliable and do great remodeling work. If you're looking for a seasoned remodeling team in San Jose then I'd recommend looking into these guys!

TLDR: The two male project managers who came to my house appeared to be sexist, and when I asked them to leave after disrespecting me, I was asked why I was snapping at them (when at no point did I raise my voice). This has been the most unprofessional, questionable, and unqualified encounter I have ever had with any company. I made an appointment to have a project manager visit my childhood home on Thurs, 2/8/2024 between 10-10:30 am. There was a change in my work schedule where I needed to change my appointment the day before, and the person with whom I was texting was kind enough to accommodate my request. My appointment comes along and two men knock on my door -- one appeared to be in his late 30s and was shorter than the other; the other man appeared to be in his mid-40s, with a gray/white beard. Once I opened the door, neither men said anything; no hello, no introduction. In fact, the expression on their face showed that they were surprised, almost as if they did not expect a woman. To prompt them to say something, I said hello, asked if they were there to see the room, and which company they were with. I thanked them for coming and asked where they needed to start and what they needed to see. The younger one had an attitude, answering that they do not know what I want done and pressed me for details of what I had planned. This struck me as odd because I had previously spoken to someone on the phone from their company to discuss the project. This showed me that they were unprepared or failed to review the notes before coming to assess the property; or perhaps whomever I was speaking did not enter notes regarding our phone call. Once I explained what I wanted done, they said that they had to take a look inside. I showed them the way to the room. They again asked what I wanted done and I repeated what I had envisioned. Rather than work with my request, the bearded man asked why I did not just renovate the entire room. This struck me as strange and felt almost like a tactic to upsell me. I explained that the timeframe that it would be to add an extension versus renovating an entire room seemed more feasible for me with my timeline as I was moving back in 2 months and I did not want to be inconvenienced for too long while the work was being done. In response, he sneered and said that it would take longer than 2 months. I told him that I understood that the project would take longer than 2 months, but the 2 months I was referring to was simply the time I was moving back, not the time at which I expected the completion of the project. I further explained that I had an idea of the timeframe and understand that it would take somewhere between 7-8 months. He had no reply and only looked at me with contempt. Next, he asked what kind of bathroom I wanted and what size. I let him know that as this was just the beginning stages, I have not considered size but I wanted a shower, single sink, and toilet. He looked at me appalled and exclaimed that there were various bathroom sizes and I had to figure it out. I was taken aback from his response as it was unnecessarily aggressive especially for an initial site visit. Following this, he then asked me how I found their company. I explained that I have been consulting with various companies, so I could not remember the exact method in which I found them, but mentioned that it might have been on Google. The bearded man then asked if I visited their website, read reviews on Google or Yelp. I thought that this was a strange question, and it gave me the impression that they may have had poor reviews since they seemed very invested on what I had already known about them. I stated that I do a thorough review before inviting project managers to my family's home, so of course I reviewed their website and did my fair share of reading reviews on Yelp. Without provocation, the bearded man then said that a business and Yelp are not the same. I responded telling him that I take reviews on Yelp with a grain of salt as one of the other companies I had an appointment with had raving reviews on Yelp; however, they failed to show up to my appointment, so Yelp is not always reliable in my experience. He proceeded to MANSPLAIN how Yelp worked. Yes, you read that correctly. This man who was older than me, explained how Yelp worked because (as he probably saw it) I am just an uneducated Asian woman. I asked if he was explaining how Yelp worked, and he lied and answered "no," essentially GASLIGHTING me! I asked if they needed anything else and when they said no, I thanked them for their time, and ask they leave my house. The shorter man then had the audacity to ask why I was snapping at them. There was no point where I raised my voice nor was I anything but cordial the entire time. I explained that from the beginning, they were talking to me in a condescending manner even when they half-heartedly explained the process. The bearded man continued to disagree and was starting to argue with me, saying that he was not being condescending. I had to ask them to leave an additional two more times and the entire time, the bearded man kept saying I was wrong and he was not being condescending. Both were insistent that they were not being condescending and I was wrong about the situation. I said that they were being condescending at this moment, trying to argue with me. The shorter one said they did not mean to act that way and I told them that despite what their intent was, they were coming across as disrespectful. I even pointed out that bearded man was rolling his eyes and not being accountable for his behavior, only insisting he was not being rude. I received no apology for their unprofessionalism and poor behavior.

We bought our first home last year and as first time home buyers we wanted everything to be perfect before our house warming. Barak (our project manager) and Jose, did an excellent job bringing everything we imagined to reality. Moreover, they took in every feedback we had during the process with humility and we never felt like our concerns big or small were not being taken into consideration. Almost into our new home, we are very happy with our decision to ask Barak to remodel our first home and the fact that we get compliments from whoever visits our house. We would not think twice before asking Barak for any other remodeling work down the line.

Amazing job and amazing crew! I've had mixed reviews with other contractors but these guys have it together! From the initial communication to completion everything was smooth and easy.
