  Peralata Painting did a great job painting the walls and ceiling in a room in our house. We had previously used glow-in-the-dark spray paint on the walls and ceiling and it was a tricky job to cover up that paint. Peralta did the research and knew that an oil-based primer was required before applying a typical coat of paint. (We actually had one painter, not found on Thumbtack, fail to sufficiently paint the walls before we brought in Peralta to do the work.)
  
  He picked up the supplies and we had confidence in him to leave him in our house alone for the entire day.
  
  I would definitely hire them again. My only small complaint was that he showed up 30 minutes late on the morning to paint and wasn't very responsive to Thumbtack messages during the booking process. On the actual painting he did a terrific job.
  
  We paid him by credit card through Thumbtack after the job was done, which was super easy and allowed us to wait to pay him before we could ensure the job was done right.
