- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the time. All our trainers have a weekly trainer meeting where we update each other on the research that we're doing. Since we use our own fitness system, we hold each other accountable for constant improvement.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was an athlete when I was a kid. I loved practicing my sport and working out to get better. As I got older I realized that not everybody has this same love of fitness. I come from a family of teachers, so it made sense to teach what I was naturally good at and had a passion for.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most people come in wanting to lose weight. Our most important job is helping people get very specific. Usually people want to lose fat AND gain muscle. In this case, you're not going to lose as much weight as you might think. You've probably heard "muscle weighs more than fat." This is very true.
