Experienced, professional and very patient piano teacher offers lessons for new students at my studio or I can travel to the student's residence.
I am a member of the Sunnyvale Music Association. Bi-annual fall and spring joint teacher's recitals are held locally. Scholarships for continuing education may be presented to graduating high school seniors in recognition of their accomplishments and to encourage further study.
My students range from the beginner to advanced.
I welcome students who are returning to the instrument after a hiatus. Lessons are customized according to the student's needs and desires which include technique, sight-reading, music theory and memorization skills.
At the beginning, students will learn the basic of music theory, and they will need to read and perform music compositions, develop good reading and listening skills, and learn how to practice. In classically-based instruction, you will learn the compositions by great composers from Bach to Tchaikovsky.
