Piano Instruction

Playing the piano is a lot of fun. With proper instruction, learning to play is fun as well. And you'll be surprised how easy it is to get started. I offer a free first lesson for the student and parent to see how I teach. I teach all levels and all ages!

$30/half hour lesson
$45/forty-five minute lesson
$55/hour lesson

When more than one child per family takes lessons, I offer a 20% discount for the second child.

  After our daughter's previous piano teacher moved to different state this summer, we thought that our daughter could never find a new piano teacher. But we were wrong! Craig is an amazing piano teacher in every aspects. He has a great sense of humor with children and makes so much fun learning piano for our daughter. Our daughter requested us to stretch her lesson time to 1 hour since she enjoys learning piano so much with his theories, finger technique, how to read music sheet quickly ...and more!   We were very fortunate to find Craig when searching for a piano teacher in the San Jose area. My daughter is an intermediate student who had been taking lessons for 5 years. Craig is kind and patient, with a very pleasant, friendly and easy going personality. His teaching style has engaged my daughter's interest in playing much more than her previous instructors. She used to view piano practice and lessons as a chore, but now approaches them with enthusiasm. I credit this shift to Craig's effective teaching style. He is also very understanding and flexible about the need to reschedule lessons from time to time.
