We purchased a new home and we wanted a plumber to come out for a few things and to do a general inspection. There were some items on the list which needed to be actioned on while others were general questions. The person that came was very knowledgeable and informed me of quite a few topics. We had an issue where our water heater and the tech took the time to thoroughly explain how they work, what issues they cause etc. I really appreciated this as it was a ton of information which would be helpful in the future. I'll definitely use them down the line for any major repairs or maintenance.
