A. Our most common types are individual tax returns. Some may be single, some may be doing taxes married jointly. Most cases are from working with a W-2. We also do businesses taxes including sole proprietor, partnerships and corporations.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. When selecting a tax preparer, consider the following:
Determine the certification and education the individual has.
How long he or she has been in business?
How experienced he or she is with small businesses in general?
Most importantly, decide if he or she will be personally working with you and preparing your forms.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. At San Jose Tax Services, we have over 10 years of tax experience.
Our work stands out due to our first professional and knowledgeable certified tax preparers.
Our services are at the most competitive price. We can beat any quoted price.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. The most favorite thing about this job is to help clients to save as much money on taxes as possible.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How can we save money on taxes? It is the common question to ask and it depends on each unique tax situation.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Every year we have a minimum of hours of coursework and tests to complete. It is to continue to update the always changing tax laws and landscape. Every year the tax law changes, so each year and each case changes.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. We believe the most important thing besides being well trained in tax preparation is to be very good at helping as well as explaining the tax situation to each client. We strive to give each of our client a smile as well as a good deal in doing their taxes. We believe in the Golden Rule: One should treat others as one would like others to treat oneself.
