A. Make sure there is a good match between you and your psychotherapist and/or Life Coach. A positive relationship affects your progress more than any other factor.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. There are no secrets - the client has all that he or she needs to find the answers they are seeking. The psychotherapist or coach is a facilitator not a "fixer".
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. Training, licensure, experience with the presenting problem. Most important, however, is how comfortable the client feels working with the professional.
