I use a Nikon D200 10MP SLR with AF S Nikkor 18-200mm lens. It takes beautiful high resolution photos with accurate color reproduction.

The photos I shoot can be enlarged to poster size with no loss of detail before cropping. I bring a laptop with me so you can view your photos after I shoot them and you can be in on the editing process.

Minor facial retouching, cropping, changing color to black and white are just a few of the things we can do to modify your photos on location. You also get all the photos I shoot on a DVD-R or CD-R disc the same day with full rights to use the photos any way you like.

I have a new hourly rate of $125.00 for the first hour and $50.00 for each additional hour. I am also willing to work out a discounted flat rate for a day shoot.

I love shooting head shots, candid, natural light photography, doing event coverage, family photos with the kids and your pets, special occasion photography including engagement photos, birthday parties, fashion and lingerie, company outings and Internet product and services photography.

Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. First of all I was born with an eye for photography, I can shoot photos with the cheapest camera, I shot my first photo when I was 12, by the time I was 21 I purchased a 35mm Minolta, unfortunately I had to sell it to pay my rent, now I have about $10,000 worth of photo equipment plus2 high speed computers to enable me to deliver unlimited amount of high resolution photos by the next day. Before I post them in my site & make DVDs I use the Picture Project 1.6 program that came with my Nikon D 200 camera to edit photos plus I take my time using other programs like Nero & Photoshop (Which I use to create panoramic photos by merging 3 or 4 + photos into 1.
The best secret is to know how to adjust your settings in the camera according to the available light, once the sun is gone it is time to start getting the right settings for my Speed Light 900 Flash, rest assure, I enjoy taking my time reading the manuals that come with all my equipment.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I spend a lot of time editing my photos with a program that came with my camera, in fact one of my fellow photographers who has the same camera mention to me why my photos look so much better than his, it is the taking the extra time, & having the best equipment, I have 2 very fast computers that cut the time in half then all I have to do when I wake up in the morning is to load them into my site & have DVDs ready by the next day to give to my clients & they can start ordering prints from my site.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I used to be a celebrity look alike, (Father Guido Sarducci) from Saturday Night Live TV Show) I am very good at mix & mingling with people, except now I do it with a camera, by using my sense of humor I can make people relax & shoot great cameo photos. Meting & mixing with people is what I enjoy most about my job. Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much do I charge, I tell them I am willing to work with their budget especially in this recessionary times.
