- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All PPSM members benefit from continuing education in the form of regular guest speakers at our monthly meetings. The topics are always pet pertinent, and the guest speakers are all experts in their fields of animal care expertise. Additionally, many of the members of PPSM attend Pet CPR & Pet First Aid classes. These classes are held every two years, and not only cover CPR & First Aid, but many preventative tips, such extensive lists of poisonous plants, and household toxins to keep away from your pets; the most common veterinary emergency room issues, and dental care for your pet.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I helped train a dog to fetch and the owner called me up and said, "Thanks for helping teach Cooper to fetch, he just throws it at us!" He does, he literally "throws" the ball by throwing his neck out towards you--it's too funny!
