Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Free Walk Thru , Design , Installation , Maintenance ,
of Interior Landscapes throughout the Bay Area.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. I wouldn't hire the biggest companies because you won't get the quality service that you would be paying for.
I would ask to meet the person who was going be be coming to your offices once a week.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. One Big secret is the big interior landscaping companies don't do a very good job managing their customers properties.
The customer should never think its normal to have ugly plants.
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. All you need is a desire to make your workplace come alive.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I've been the interior landscaping business since 1989, and have seen and done it all.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Creating a landscape of tropical plants and flowers inside office buildings, and watching them thrive and grow.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. Customers ask what happens if they ever become unhappy with the plant service. I tell them their "Satisfaction is Guaranteed in Writing," and if they ever do have a problem we'll solve it in a timely manner.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I've got a million stories , but my favorite is when the president of the company in the corner office on the 70th floor of his building, asked me if I would pour my bucket of water on his head, and I said, " Sir, I'd love to pour this bucket of water on your head."
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. I'd like my customers to know that if they're going to pay money for interior landscaping they should expect the best and not settle for 2nd rate service.
We provide the best service in the business at a competitive price.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. I was lucky. In college I was offered a job delivering flowers for the 16th largest Interior Landscaping company in the country.
It made me happy watching things grow, and I never stopped..
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. One of my old customers has a big atrium in the lobby. Everything is growing great since the install, and every time I go to visit it looks nicer than before.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Always , and I do volunteer my time whenever possible to share my knowledge with the industry.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. Theres always new species and hybrids coming out , Plants on Walls is pretty cool if they would unplug it , Our Green Commitment
I'd just like to say how happy I am after being Green for over 20 years that everyone decided that Green is the best color.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. A great customer asked me for a cut flower arrangement for their front desk in addition to the Bromeliad behind the receptionist.
To do a weekly cut flower arrangement is expensive folks and is why I don't recommend it.
I gave my customer a beautiful orchid arrangement for free to see if they liked it for the first month. They loved it and saved a ton money.
Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.
A. I can work around any budget. I just got big corporate account last year, and they had over a 100 existing plants and containers. They're budget couldn't afford a Guaranteed Maintenance Contract. So all I had to do was give them a grade B Guaranteed Maintenance Service Contract, and they are one of my most satisfied customers.
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. I would suggest to start as soon as possible to accumulate your years of experience. Good Luck y Best Regards CB
